# Promptora > Promptora is a marketplace for "receipts": verified, working MCP servers, A2A agents, agentic-commerce (UCP/ACP) integrations, and automations, built on open protocols so they run on any model or platform. Every receipt either runs correctly against a buyer's own case or it doesn't. Nothing is sold on a written claim alone. Receipts are delivered two ways. A **hosted** receipt stays on the seller's own server; Promptora proxies calls through a private gateway, priced per call, and the seller's real endpoint and credentials are never exposed to the buyer. A **download** is a bundle the buyer runs themselves, for a one-time price: SHA-256 hashed at listing time, so what's delivered is provably identical to what was listed, and AES-256-GCM encrypted until a verified purchase releases the key. Sellers keep 80% of every sale and every call. Payouts clear after a 7-day hold, $10 minimum withdrawal, via PayPal. Listings are categorized by `prompt_type` (mcp-server, automation, agent, template) and `complexity` (beginner, intermediate, advanced), both assigned automatically from the uploaded content at publish time, not self-declared by the seller. Promptora is not a free open-source directory. Sites like Smithery, PulseMCP, mcp.so, and Glama index open-source MCP servers for free install; none of them handle payment, verification, or seller accountability.
